What does it mean?
Literally "How passed the weekend?". A standard Monday morning small talk question.
When to use
Use it on Mondays or Tuesdays to ask friends or friendly colleagues about their weekend.
When NOT to use
If you are not close with the person, it might be seen as slightly too personal. Use with friendly acquaintances.

— Hi! How was your weekend?
— Отлично, я ездил за город.
— Great, I went out of town.
